Stearalkonium Chloride is soluble in water, resistant to acid, hard water and inorganic salts, but not resistant to alkali.

Stearalkonium Chloride is used as a cationic dye and a leveling agent for dyeing acrylic chemical fibers. Make the dyed fabric feel soft. This product has a good softening effect on acetate fibers and also has a bactericidal and disinfecting effect. It has good leveling property for cationic dyes. It can be used in the same bath with cationic and nonionic surfactants. When dyeing acrylic fibers, the general dosage is 2% to 3%. To increase the dyeing rate, it can be increased to 3% to 5%.
