Vinyltrimethoxysilane is a colorless transparent liquid with an ester odor, soluble in ethanol, etc. Vinyltrimethoxysilane will slowly hydrolyze when exposed to moisture in the air.

Vinyltrimethoxysilane modifies polyethylene and other polymers by grafting onto the main chain of the polymer, allowing the side chains of the polymer to carry trimethoxysilyl ester groups as active points for warm water crosslinking.

Trimethylolpropane Triacrylate (TMPTA) is a typical trifunctional monomer with a higher viscosity than monofunctional and bifunctional monomers. However, compared to multifunctional monomers, TMPTA has a lower viscosity and good solubility. This monomer can provide high curing speed and high cross-linking density, and can form a cured film with excellent solvent resistance, hardness, scratch resistance, and brittleness. Its price is relatively low, and although it has some irritation to the skin, it is still the most commonly used multifunctional monomer.
