What Is Ethyl cellulose?
ethyl cellulose polymer is a white to light grey flowable paste with thermoplasticity. It is unstable to heat, discolors at high temperatures (240 ºC) and loses its original physical and chemical properties. The viscosity of commercial grade products shall be specified in Chemicalbook. The relative density is 1.07 ~ 1.18, the refractive index is 1.47, and the softening point is 100 ~ 130 ºC. It can generate a tough film, which can still maintain its flexibility at low temperatures.
