Product Introduction :

6-Bromo-2-naphthol white needle shaped crystal. Melting point 127-128 ºC, boiling point 200-205 ºC (0.267kPa), soluble in benzene and ethanol. Obtained from 2-naphthol through bromination and reduction. Add 2-naphthol and glacial acetic acid to the reaction pot, and then add a solution composed of  acetic acid. After adding , heat with water until boiling, and then cool to 100 ºC. Batch add Chemicalbook mossy tin, then boil for 3 hours. Stir and add to an appropriate amount of cold water to precipitate 6-bromo-2-naphthol. Wash with water, filter, and dry at 100 ºC to obtain crude product. The finished product is obtained by vacuum distillation and recrystallization.
