Quick Description

Silicone oil is a type of polyorganosiloxane with a chain like structure of different degrees of polymerization. It is obtained by hydrolysis with water to form an initial condensed ring, which is then cracked and distilled to form a low chemical book ring. The ring, sealing agent, and catalyst are then mixed together to obtain a mixture of various degrees of polymerization. After vacuum distillation to remove the low boiling substance, silicone oil can be produced.

Application

Silicone oil is used as a defoamer in many fields such as food, cosmetics, papermaking, water treatment, detergents, sugar making, fermentation, coatings, textile printing and dyeing, drilling and refining, hydraulic oil and advanced lubricants, and Chemicalbook release agents; Used as a raw material for silicone resin and silicone rubber; Adhesive raw materials; Additives for flame retardant plastics; Insulation material raw materials; Also used as a wetting agent, leather finishing agent, etc.
