Zinc hydroxide, chemical formula Zn (OH) 2, amorphous white powder. The relative density is 3.05. After drying at 40~50 ºC, it conforms to the molecular formula, and decomposes into zinc oxide and water when heated to 125 ºC. It is amorphous white powder or light yellow powder with a relative density of 3.053. The melting point is 125 ºC (decomposition). It is decomposed into zinc oxide at 120 ºC. It is insoluble in water and soluble in acid. It is an amphoteric hydroxide.
