UV absorber UV-1130 is a hydroxyphenyl benzotriazole type UV absorber with a light yellow to light amber viscous liquid appearance. It is easily soluble in polar and non-polar solvents, insoluble in water, and can effectively protect coating gloss, avoid cracking and spots. The product is easy to emulsify and is particularly suitable for aqueous systems. Its dispersion in aqueous systems can be obtained by dissolving in water-soluble solvents such as diethylene glycol

UV absorbent UV-1130 has excellent resistance to high temperature and extraction, making it particularly suitable for industrial and automotive coatings with high weather resistance requirements. It can also provide sufficient protection for sensitive substrates such as wood. Commercial sales of coatings are shared with hindered amines (HALS), such as light stabilizers 292 Chemicalbook or 123. These shared synergistic agents can significantly improve coating performance, prevent loss of gloss, cracking, foaming, peeling, and discoloration. Light stabilizers can be added to car hood varnish or primer. However, based on our experience, adding a light stabilizer to the topcoat provides the best protection.
